World Without Walls
November 9, the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, is a global day of action for a world without walls. People from over 25 countries are uniting their voices in protest of the visible and invisible walls that divide our lands and communities.
As part of my participation in the world without walls movement, I (Allison) have begun a blog. It shares stories from my trip to Israel and Palestine as part of a world without walls delegation, allows me to reflect upon the many ways we are called to be justice workers and peace-makers in our own communities, and will integrate the ways Lakeshore and others are building bridges of solidarity.
I encourage you to check it out: https://givingvoicetothestruggle.com
There is a place in the blog to follow me if you are interested in getting my reflections sent to your email directly. The blog will also be accessible through the church website.
I am grateful for the many ways we continue to work together for a world without walls.
Allison
