We All Need Music – A Note From Sandra Lee

Have you thought about hymn or songwriting lately? We hope you join us this week for two Vital Worship Grant funded classes!

On Wednesday evening, September 23rd at 6pm, please join us with Rev. Dan Damon leading as he shares his perspective on songwriting and gives us an overview of shortsongs. Last week I sent out a link to one of his songs. He has sent me more songs for our class to listen to and study. Please email me if you are not on my worship class list, as these recordings were made specifically for our class. and are not meant for broader distribution or use.

On Sunday afternoon, September 30 at 2pm, we invite you to join us again with Rev. Carolyn Winfrey Gillette as she leads us in looking at some of her songs about loving our neighbors. She is looking forward to hearing how we have done with our homework from her first class earlier this month.

Whether or not you have time to do the homework, or think of yourself as a songwriter, please join us and learn more about how these two ministers and worship leaders teach and inspire us about how we might create our own worship songs connecting Bible scriptures and our ministries.
