Update, Tuesday, February 16
From the Green The Church Team – Tonight on PBS
On Tuesday, February 16th, and Wednesday, February 17th at 9:00 pm PST, PBS (KQED locally) will air an intimate four-hour series from Henry Louis Gates, Jr. entitled The Black Church: This Is Our Story, This Is Our Song. The series will explore the 400-year-old story of the Black Church in America, the changing nature of worship spaces, and the men and women who shepherded them from the pulpit, the choir loft, and church pews. Singer/songwriter John Legend is an executive producer.

Henry Louis Gates, Jr., and a select group of academics, culture-makers, activists, and thought-leaders will be live-tweeting The Black Church during this two-night premiere. You can get in the conversation on Twitter by using the hashtag: #BlackChurchPBS.
There is truly something for everyone as a part of this production, including
a Bible Study
a Dine and Dish Guide
the Our Song Guided Playlist
and the Our Story Coloring Book (which is truly amazing).
