Further Commentary on the Amy Comey Barrett hearings

Legal originalism and religious fundamentalism are politically laden approaches that masquerade as ‘pure.’ They enshrine, and idolize a moment in time, with the ridiculous and dangerous notion that humans cannot and should not grow in wisdom. The constitution and religion are useless as relics kept in a protective tomb – free from the messiness of humanity. They are only as valuable as they are alive to the needs of the people of this day, and future days, who yearn for justice.

Manager Sought for PCBA Website and Digital Communication

The Pacific Coast Baptist Association is seeking a volunteer manager for its website and digital communications. The responsibility would include:

• maintaining the website, https://pcba.org/
• maintaining email lists of members, friends, and subscribers to the e-version of PCBA NOTES
• transmitting periodical notices and the e-version of the NOTES
• managing a postal address label file.
