Hi Faith in Action East Bay friends,

I hope you are all well and sorry to have been out of touch in my new role. I’m writing to ask for your help publicizing in your congregations that there are many open positions in Oakland’s schools right now, thanks to the generous relief funding provided by the federal and state governments.

We are hiring for everything from nutrition services to classroom aides to literacy tutors to teachers and psychologists, restorative justice coordinators and athletic coaches. It’s an amazing time to be working in schools because students are so excited to be back, and it is truly a gift to be able to support young people to make those in-person relationships and develop their education in person together.
