Update, June 9, 2021

Family,

There was some moderately good news from the FDA on Monday when it announced the approval, at least for the time being, of a drug that has shown some ability to reduce Amyloid beta plaque, one of the possible causes of Alzheimer’s disease, in the brain. Alzheimer’s is one of the most fear inducing words in the English language. Let us pray that this drug, and the research that surrounds it, signals sustainable hope in the battle against this dread disease.
