Update, Day of Epiphany, January 6, 2021

Twenty five years ago today the American Baptist Churches of the West voted to disfellowship Lakeshore, FBC Berkeley, San Leandro Community Church and New Community of Faith ( San Jose) for their membership in the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists. During the same period of time the Columbus Baptist Association of Ohio took the same action against FBC Granville.

Tonight, at 5:30 the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptist will host a worship service in honor of the event and in committment to the cause of justice for sexual minorities.
