Vacation Bible Camp 2023 (July 10-14)

The theme for Camp this year is “Stellar – Shine Jesus’ Light.”  The outer space theme brings with it cosmic memory buddies: Cosmo-a star; Ringo-a planet; Luna-the moon; Sol-the sun; and Halley-a comet.  The bible stories are from the life of Jesus, and the lesson on Friday teaches us that the good news about Jesus is for everyone!

The dates are July 10-14, 8:30 am -12 noon. The cost is $25. There is also an all day option which requires a separate registration and payment. For information contact Pastor Carolyn: carolyn@labcoakland.org.

Promotion and Graduate Recognition (June 11)

This will take place on June 11 during the worship service

Contact Pastor Carolyn (carolyn@labcoakland.org) with information on anyone celebrating the following milestones (first and last name, school graduating from and school or program entering, degree or name of program completed):
Entering Kindergarten
Entering First Grade
Entering Middle/Junior High School
Entering High School
Graduating High School
Graduating Beyond High School (College, Trade School, etc.)

All Church Family Retreat (August 4-6)

We will be gathering at Redwood Glen Conference Center

The church retreat is a great time to get to know members of the Lakeshore family in a relaxed setting.  Along with the sessions there is time for recreation and plenty of free time to explore the camp grounds.
