Tuesday, July 21
Family,
It is another busy week at LABC. Vacation Bible Camp is in full swing. You and the children in your life can participate via this link.
Yesterday at VBC we learned from the story of Ananias helping Saul (Acts9), who had been attacking the followers of Jesus, that Jesus helps us do hard things. Today, from the story of Paul helping his shipmates survive a shipwreck (Acts 27), we will learn that Jesus gives us hope. Tomorrow, from the story of Peter helping others even when the temple authorities told him to stop (Acts 2), we will learn that Jesus helps us to be bold.
Each morning at 9:45 there will be a ten minute VBC gathering via the LABC Zoom account.

Journey with Charles Joseph
Wednesday, July 22 at 7 p.m.
Shell Ridge Community Church is hosting an evening with Charles Joseph who will share his journey to freedom from ICE detention. After nearly a year in detention, Charles was recently released and reunited with his family. Since his release, he continues to fight for the release of all who are in detention. Come hear his story and learn more about how you can support those who are journeying to freedom. This event will be similar to the one Lakeshore held in April – if you missed your chance to hear him – or would like to hear his story again, please join us!
Car Wash
Oscar will be washing cars at Lakeshore this Friday, July 24. If you’d like to make a car wash reservation or get the link to the evening with Charles Joseph please contact Pastor Allison.
Karen and I will be away from July 25 – August 4. Ally will be preaching this coming Sunday and Carolyn will preach on August 2. Until then, peace and all good things.
