In light of the vote yesterday by the United States Senate not to call witnesses in the impeachment trial of Donald J. Trump I am changing my sermon for tomorrow. The title will now be “When Our Institutions Fail Us.” The Scripture will be I Samuel 8: 10-22. There will be a sermon talk-back following coffee hour. Let us continue to pray for the well-being of those we agree with as well those with whom we disagree profoundly.
