Today’s Vacation Bible Camp theme reminds us of the importance of Public witness – shining our light in ways that meet the needs of our community!

Stellar Bible Adventures – Day 5

When people need help, shine Jesus’ light!

Bible verse: “Let you good deeds shine…so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. (Matt. 5:16)

Bible story: Phillip helps the Ethiopian. (Acts 8:26-39)

One way this will be lived out on Sunday is by those who are representing Lakeshore at the Ride for Palestine! Please keep the bike-riders and Palestinian children, for whom we are raising funds, in your prayers. Proceeds support Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), an organization that supports Palestinian children in war-torn Gaza, the occupied West Bank, and refugee camps throughout the region. Thanks to all who have supported Team Lakeshore and MECA’s work! (There’s still time to donate!)

Whatever this weekend holds in store for you, I hope you can find a way to shine Jesus’ light!
