Right of Return Pilgrimage THIS SUNDAY

Dear Lakeshore,

I’m excited to share that we have 10 Lakeshorians signed up to participate in this Sunday’s Right of Return Pilgrimage – and there is still time to join! You can register to walk, provide transportation (I’m in need of someone to transport people back to the church at 2 p.m.), offer prayers for the pilgrims, or join in one of the programs. The two programs I recommend are the 30 minute program at the Sumud Mural (at Uptown Body and Fender) at 1:30 and the final program and celebration at the West Berkeley Shellmound (4th and Hearst) at 6:30.

If you plan to walk, or can offer transportation following either of the programs, please let me know!

You can learn more about the pilgrimage here. You can also listen to me discuss the significance of this Sunday’s Right of Return Pilgrimage in this interview I did with KPFA.

May we continue walking together in the light of love.

Pastor Allison

I made my debut on KPFA public radio today, discussing the significance of this Sunday’s Right of Return pilgrimage.
