Our annual church retreat is just one week away. Traditionally, we have introduced the new church theme at the annual retreat and we will be doing that this year. The theme for the upcoming church year is, “Restore, Refresh, Renew” and the scripture text is Psalm 51:10 -12. Lakeshore Annual Scholarships
LABC supports our commitment to the continuing education of our members and families through a scholarship program. If you would like to support the program, donations are accepted throughout the year and, like all donations to the ministries of the church, are tax deductible. If you are a student and would like an application, please contact Pastor Carolyn for an application (or click link below) and return to Pastor Hopkins at jim@labcoakland.org. The deadline for submission is August 15. Click here to access the application.
Learn about LABC/New Member Classes
Pastor Hopkins will lead classes for everyone interested in membership at LABC. They will be held at 11:45 on Sundays July 31, August 7 and August 14 in the front of the Sanctuary. The classes will be in-person only.
