Pentecost Sunday 2024 at LABC

Jim Hopkins

May 17, 2024

Feast of Pentecost, El Greco, circa 1600, Museo Nacional del Prado

Happy Pentecost Sunday! As is our tradition, everyone is encouraged to wear red to church today. Pastor Jim’s sermon will be “Not Scorched, But Radiant.” He will be reflecting on Acts 2, Exodus 16 and the words of Baptist peacemaker Ken Sehested – The flame of the Spirit’s igniting presence does not scorch us. It makes us radiant.
