Dear LABC,
It has been good to experience the season of Thanksgiving as part of the LABC community. I now look forward to joining you in the journey through Advent to Christmas and the New Year.
In worship on Sunday we will light the Advent Candle of Hope, share Communion, be blessed by the music of our Handbell Ensemble and Choir and hear Paul’s promise to the church in Corinth (I Corinthians 1; 3-9), “God is faithful.”
There is much to look forward to, participate in and invite friends to share in during the month of December. Underlying all the services, activities and ministries is the promise of God’s faithfulness. This promise means that we do what we do not from a place of fear but from a heart of joy. May joy permeate the days ahead.
