Family,

Karen and I are safely returned from a visit with family in Oregon. We had a great time enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and connecting with loved ones. Below are two photos, one from Wildlife Safari near Roseburg, Oregon with the Phillips family and one taken near Karen’s brothers home in Southeast Portland.

Prayers for us all this week. The Reverend Dave Robinson will be representing us today at a vigil remembering those who have died in recent years at Santa Rita Jail. The vigil will be a call for better care for the incarcerated. Pastor Tanner is working hard on final preparations for the pilgrimage to several ICE detention  centers throughout California. Pastor Carolyn is preparing for a busy summer which will include Vacation Bible Camp and the All-Church Retreat.
