Making our Way Back
So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day. 17 For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure, 18 because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
II Corinthians 4:16-18, NIV
Making a way back to…
Vacation Bible Camp (July 12 – 16)

Vacation Bible Camp planning is in the works. The group met this week and we are all looking forward to a time of fun and learning with our children and youth. Yes, there are many questions that will need to be asked, answered, and addressed. The big take away this week is that as many of us are being vaccinated we are also praying that all people will continue to take precautions to stay safe and well so we will be able to be together this summer. We move ahead cautiously, but with hope. Mark your calendars and look for a survey regarding interest and comfort with attending VBC at church.
All Church Retreat (August 6-8)
The contract from Redwood Glen is in our hands. The camp ground has started receiving groups. The retreat planning committee has begun its work. Even further out than VBC, we are praying that we will be able to connect with one another at the retreat this year.
The dates for these two events have been set and the planning has begun. Yet, we continue to proceed with caution. This is why we continue to ask that we covenant together to pray that things will continue to move forward with regard to vaccines, and people will continue to be responsible with regard to masks and safe practices. It may seem that we are moving slowly, but we care about and are concerned with the safety of everyone.
