“David told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their fellow Levites as musicians to make a joyful sound with musical instruments: lyres, harps and cymbals.” (I Chronicles 15:16, NIV)
Music is one of the vital parts of worship. We at Lakeshore are blessed to experience this gift of God in so many iterations. One of these is our LABC Handbell Ensemble. We are looking to resume in the Fall.
If you are interested in becoming a part of or rejoining the ensemble please contact Pastor Carolyn. What is required in order to play handbells? One, it is important that you be able to count to “9.” Two, the ability to follow direction. Three, a sense of humor.

I don’t know how to read music. We can help with that.
I have never played a musical instrument. We can help with that.
I am not coordinated. Hmm, that may take some time but we may even be able to help with that too.
For those who have questions and would like to have a pre-practice, “I need questions answered session,” we will have a question/answer pre-rehearsal on September 6, at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary. Our first rehearsal will be, Thursday, September 13, at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary.
