Life on Lakeshore

Saturday evening there was death and fear on Lakeshore Avenue as one person was shot and killed and seven were injured. We pray for the victims. We pray for the perpetrators. We commit anew to seek the peace of our city.

On Monday there was life and hope as the Stanford Blood Bank mobile unit set up across the street from the church. (LABC provided restroom access.) Thanks to Phillip Martin for organizing.

Today on LABC Zoom – Wednesday Prayer and Bible Study, 10:00 am, reading Obadiah, the shortest book in the Old Testament.
