Dear Lakeshore,

I invite you to join me on Sunday afternoon for Beloved Community with Black Migrants, sponsored by Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity and partner congregations. This event will feature Black Migrants’ experiences from the U.S. Border to the Bay Area. It will include a film screening of segments of “Las Abogadas” and a panel with Black migrants who’ve recently arrived in the Bay Area. This event will take place at 2 p.m. at City of Refuge, United Church of Christ (8400 Enterprise Way, Oakland). It will begin promptly at 2pm with music from local West African/Oakland-based musicians.
