LABC Update – Saturday, May 27, 2023
Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday, Memorial Day Sunday and the last Sunday of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Our preacher will be The Reverend Dr. Zulu Lemtur. The Forum will be a sermon talk-back with Zulu. He was ordained in 2022 by the First Baptist Church in Berkeley, shortly after earning his PhD from the Graduate Theological Union. Zulu is from Northeast India and is the author of Climate Refugees: Towards a Tribal Theology of Restoration, and Tribal Cultural and Theological Conversations. His sermon, taken from I Corinthians 12:3-13, will be “Wind of Change.”
