It was disappointing to have to cancel the Church Retreat. It is a reminder that Covid is still with us. Vice-Moderator Marc Buffin shared this article as a reminder that caution is still in order.

As a new school year approaches, the OUSD begins class on Monday, I want to offer a blessing on all our students (and their families), teachers, school administrators and support staff during Children’s Time in worship tomorrow. While prayer in public schools should not be mandated, regular prayer for all schools should be our consistent practice. If you are connected to a school I trust that you will be able to attend.
