BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS – Tomorrow, October 4, 2:00 pm
Join Rev. David Robinson for the blessing of the animals on the church steps, tomorrow, Saturday, October 4, at 2:00 pm.
WEEPING AND REJOICING – PRAYER CONCERN UPDATES
Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. (Romans 12:15)
We grieve together with the following families:
Rev. Valentine Royal’s great grandson, Kazari, passed away on September 11. Viewing was on October 2; services are taking place today, October 3. Please continue to hold Rev. Valentine and the family in prayer.
The Kifle family lost their father on September 30. Service details pending. Please continue to hold Mebrat, Mekonnen, and all the family in prayer during these days.
Continued prayers for Rudell Crosby-White on the loss of her husband, Michael.
We give thanks and rejoice with Carol Leichter that her latest tests show her as cancer free!

The blessing of the animals will take place on Saturday, October 4, at 2:00 pm.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – Sunday, October 5
After worship we will hold a congregational meeting. As part of the meeting, we will take a vote on the interim candidate. (Contact Pastor Carolyn if you would like a link to the “Question and Answer” forum with Rev. Ng.)

Forever Young meets in the family room at 12:30 pm.
HARVEST FESTIVAL AND HALLOWEEN PARADE ON LAKESHORE – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18
This year the Harvest Festival will take place on October 18. Join us and the community for pre-Halloween festivities and activities. Here is how you may help make this community event a fun experience for all. Let Ms. Yvonne or Pastor Carolyn know if you can help in any of the areas below:
- Set up from 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- Craft tables 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (any time in here is great)
- Clean up 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
- And we need un-iced cupcake.
