LABC Update – March 7, 2022

Family,

Via Zoom, I will be participating in the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty board meetings today. There was some hope that these meetings would be in-person at the BJC offices in Washington D.C. , I had even made travel plans, but caution prevailed and the meetings were shifted to Zoom. The hope is that the October meetings will be in-person in D.C., coinciding with first day of the Supreme Court year. I trust that Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will be seated on the court by then.

If I were in the nation’s capital I would have been able to visit this Women’s History Month exhibit of the Smithsonian.
