Greeting Hunger Task Force Members & Friends,
Thank you all for your continual support of the HTF Hunger Walk this past June 2023. Our goal was $20, 000 and we have raised approximately $16,500. Impressive Job Everyone!!! Please keep those funds coming!!!
Our next event is our Back to School (BTS) Backpack Drive. We are preparing to purchase supplies for both Family Support Services and City Team Ministries. To make this event a success, we need your help to purchase supplies, organize and assemble the backpacks, and disperse backpacks into the Oakland Community.
Below, please find the list of the supplies needed. If you can help purchase any of these items, please let me know. All items purchased will need to be at the church by Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 10 a.m. We are planning to assemble backpacks following the church service on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 12:00 pm -2 pm. Please plan to stay and help. City Team will organize a distribution day on Saturday, August 5, 2023. There will be more details to follow.

A. Shoppers
We need shoppers to order or pick-up supplies and deliver them to the church by Sunday, July 30, 2023. Please shop wisely and hang on to your receipts. HTF will reimburse your expenditure. Walmart and Target have the best prices so far. Also, do not forget to check Office Depot and Staples for their weekly sale.
