LABC Update – January 10, 2023
Family,
Communion is one of the most beautiful, meaningful and enduring symbols of our commitment to live as followers of Jesus of Nazareth. As the following note from Paige Bence indicates, we need to re-establish our teams of communion servers. I urge you to contact her to sign-up and I wouldn’t be surprised if you find your service to be something you come to value greatly.

Dear LABC Members.
The W&CC Department at church is responsible for organizing communion servers for each first Sunday. If I can find at least 12 members who would commit to serving communion 1x every 3 months, I could devise a rotation schedule. Please respond to me by January 23rd as to whether you would be willing to be on this rotation schedule. Once I have enough volunteers, I will set up a rotation schedule, with names, dates, and email/phone numbers. I will send it out to the volunteers. If you are scheduled for a date you cannot be in attendance, you can then contact someone else on the list to make a swap (and also alert me that the swap has been made).
Once I have a rotation schedule, I will set up a brief training session (probably on zoom) to be sure everyone feels comfortable with the plan.
