Tomorrow, February 24th, is the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The invasion is a terrifying example of what happens when religion, nationalism and authoritarian government are mixed together.

When Chris Schelin was in Amsterdam last month to work at the International Baptist Theological Seminary, which serves the European Baptist Federation and wider Baptist community, he met the Ukranian pastor interviewed in this article.
