LABC Update – August 12

Psalm 51:12 (NRSVUE)

Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
and sustain in me a willing spirit.

Last week some of the Lakeshore family gathered at Redwood Glen for the church retreat. The theme, “Restore-Refresh-Renew” was based on the scripture Psalm 51:10-12.  The weekend brought to me the restoration and refreshing of the spirit of joy. I had the pleasure of working with the children at the retreat.  We played, sang, became creative with paper, pen, stickers, scissors, and took notice of some of the lessons from the recent Vacation Bible Camp Videos.  The time away brought a renewal of the Spirit and joy found in being a part of God’s family.

May we each look forward to a continuation of the personal development of the theme in the coming year.

Lakeshore Annual Scholarships

LABC supports our commitment to the continuing education of our members and families through a scholarship program. If you would like to support the program, donations are accepted throughout the year and, like all donations to the ministries of the church, are tax deductible.
