There are ample opportunities this holiday week to express our faith and enjoy our community:

July 1
Pastor Tanner will be part of a faith delegation speaking to Nancy Pelosi’s office this afternoon in coordination with Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity. Please join her following this conversation at a press conference outside the Federal Building in San Francisco at 5:30 affirming our support for the migrant community

July 1
Join me at “Families Belong Together” an inter-faith vigil against ICE Raids and the terror being inflicted by the immigrant community by the current administration. 6:00 p.m. St. Jarlarth’s Church (Fruitvale Avenue just south of the 580)

July 3
A’s Game and Fireworks – The game starts at 6:05. I plan to be in Parking Lot A by 3:00 to start tailgate preparations. I will text Ally with a picture of the location. Come as soon as you can and bring a snack to share. I will supply hot dogs, veggie burgers, buns and condiments.

July 4
Join Pastor Tanner at “Standing on This Land Together: Indigenous, Settlers and Migrants” 1900 4th, Berkeley, 10:00 – 11:30

July 7
Sunday Worship at LABC – Communion, Prayer, Mary Anderson will sing. My sermon will be “Under God: A Good Place To Be”
