This Sunday at Lakeshore

LABC Sunday Worship – June 23, 2024

Jim Hopkins

June 19, 2024

A great day awaits as we gather for worship at LABC. Our preacher today is The Reverend Dr. Chris Schelin. Chris is the author of the recently published book, “The Contestable Church: Dissent, Democracy and Baptist Ecclesiology.” His sermon, part of a late June emphasis from the Lakeshore pulpit on our Baptist indentiy, will be “The Freedom We Find Together.” A quarterly meeting of the congregation will follow worship. Bible Study will follow the meeting

From Pastor Carolyn to families with children –  This Sunday the children’s Sunday School class will be participating in an outdoor activity. As a continuation of last week’s children’s story about the mustard seed, they will be planting mustard seeds in small pots. It is an outdoor activity (in the yard next to the church) and could be messy, so we wanted to make sure you were aware and have your child(ren) dressed appropriately.
