Your support of the ministries of LABC and The One Great Hour of Sharing, our Outreach Offering in July, is greatly appreciated.
This afternoon there will be an Interfaith Vigil to Save Lives at San Quentin. With now over 2000 COVID cases among incarcerated people, over 200 cases among staff and at least 12 deaths, everyone at San Quentin is facing a potential death sentence. Further, San Quentin continues to transfer incarcerated individuals among prisons and into ICE custody, furthering the potential spread of COVID to even more institutions. Join with faith leaders in support of those imprisoned and their families. We are asking Governor Newsom to inspect the prison, end all transfers, drastically reduce the inmate population and prioritize those most vulnerable. These actions affirm our core faith beliefs: Respect Human Lives, Release the Captives, Restore our Community. For more information, click here: Interfaith Vigil.
Vacation Bible Camp Begins Tomorrow! The VBC videos will be available each day at 10:00 am but will be available to accessed at your convenience. At 9:45 am each day, we will host a ZOOM call for a short intro and “hello.”
