Our preacher today is The Reverend Douglas Avilesbernal, Executive Minister of the Evergreen Baptist Association. One of Doug’s calls is to be a bridge between two different worlds with many different cultures and two different languages. He is the son of a missionary pastor, having been born in Guatemala, Central America, and his faith spans three decades, several continents, and many nations. Previously staff at an American Baptist camp in New Jersey and leader with the American Baptist Home Mission Societies’ Xtreme Team, Doug served as Senior Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church of Norristown, Pennsylvania before becoming our Executive Minister.
Bible Study follows worship at 11:45.
