LABC MIDWEEK MESSAGE – JANUARY 14, 2026

CONTINUING TO LIVE INTO THE NEW YEAR

The first lesson of the year in the adult bible study materials was titled: “Incarnation: Living the Logos Lifestyle.” The word, “logos,” is rarely used in everyday conversation, unless one is a student in a New Testament Greek class. It is translated, “word,” and we find it in John 1: “The word became flesh…” The lesson itself was based on John 1:1-18. Contact Pastor Carolyn for a link to the part of the lesson that speaks directly to the idea of incorporating the “logos lifestyle” into our lives. As we continue into the new year and perhaps trying to find new ways of living, being, and/or growing, this may prove helpful. If so, let me know and maybe we can also find a way to be accountable to one another.
