Justice Jam on Mass Migration

Lakeshore will host our Spring Justice Jam on Mass Migration: has anything really changed on Wednesday May, 26 from 7-8 p.m. on zoom. You can register for the zoom at bit.ly/LABCJusticeJam. The keynote speaker for this event will be Rev. Deborah Lee, Executive Director of Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity.

We are several months into a new administration, yet there are still large numbers of migrants at the border and strict limits on who can enter the country. Has anything really changed? This Justice Jam will discuss what is happening at the border and to immigrants living in the U.S. under Biden’s leadership. We will discuss root causes of immigration, what has and has not changed, and what we can do to welcome the stranger and love our immigrant neighbors.
