Dear LABC,
A report from Sunday:
Pentecost: The season has begun and is ongoing. A key question – “What is the Spirit whispering to LABC?”
Hunger Walk: What a great turnout. We need to be proud of all the ministry we have supported over the 35 years of this endeavor.
Warriors: Nice win but Lebron James is, in and of himself, a formidable opponent. Beware of over-confidence.
Looking ahead:
This Sunday we honor our graduates and promotees. Carrying the lessons of last Sunday with us to the Sunday ahead let us

  • With joy and hope, believe that the Spirit will, in amazing ways, lead those we are honoring.
  • With appreciation, give thanks for the ways they shape our community right now.
  • With caution and concern, pray for them for there are significant foes and obstacles “out there.”
