Dear LABC,
Vacation Bible Camp is happening! We have a great group of students, leaders and helpers. VBC is truly an intergenerational wonder.
The theme of this year’s camp is “Maker Fun Factory: Created by God, Built for a Purpose.” The theme for each day is:

  1. Monday, God made you (Psalm 138, Genesis 1:16-2:4)
  2. Tuesday, God is for you (Joshua 1-2)
  3. Wednesday, God is always with you (Judges 6:11-7:25)
  4. Thursday, God will always love you (Luke 22:66-24:12)
  5. Friday, God made you for a reason (1 Samuel 25)

The Bible stories this year feature two strong, but often over-looked, women of faith – Rahab and Abigail.
We will celebrate Vacation Bible Camp in worship this Sunday as Pastor Tanner leads us under the theme “What I Learned in Vacation Bible Camp.”
Please continue in prayer for those listed in the update I sent out last Saturday. To that list please add:

  • Teresita Arciaga (LCC School Age Director) health concerns
  • Thanksgiving for the witness of ABSW Dean LeAnn Fletcher and students as they learn, preach and  teach in Rwanda
  • Kay Baxter for her daughter & son in Baltimore
