What COVID protocols are in place?

Masks are required indoors and we are asking worshippers to maintain social distance.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. You’ll see people in everything from sweat pants, to jeans, to suits and dresses. Come as you are.

How long is the service?

Our services typically run a little over an hour.

Will I be singled out or asked to do something?

Definitely not. Occasionally the pastors will recognize someone in the congregation, but not for someone visiting the church.

Will I be pressured to give money?

If you are new to LABC, please don’t feel obligated to give. People will never be pressured to give money here. During the service we do have an offering, but this is for regular attendees who give to support the many ministries of the church.

Do I have to be Christian to attend?

We welcome people of all faiths, people who do not identify with any faith, as well as people who question the existence of God. We are all on a journey of our faith, and you will find people at every stage of that journey here.

How diverse is your church?

We embrace diversity in every way. It’s what makes the East Bay and our church stronger. All races, ages, genders, Pro-LGBTQ are welcome.

What do you offer for children and youth on Sunday morning?

Children are an integral part of the church. They are included in the Sunday service, and we have programs for them during and after the Sunday service.

What should I expect if I visit?

Expect to hear a sermon focus on today’s pressing issues and the scriptures helping to make sense of our world. Expect to hear amazing music. Music is important to us. Expect to find a place that gives you the space to reflect. And finally, expect to find a wonderful group of people.
