Ascension Sunday Worship – May 24

Jim Hopkins

May 23, 2020

Theologically, the Ascension is very significant. It means that just as Jesus brought heaven to earth he now brings earth to heaven. It means that death is defeated rather than simply delayed. It means that Jesus is making room for the Spirit to come and the Church to flourish. It means that the future God intends for us is bright.
