Easter Greetings!
Yes, I know Easter was 11 days ago, but as William Sloan Coffin points out, “Easter is a season, not a day.”  (The Easter season culminates with Pentecost.)  May the celebration and joy of Easter abide, amidst the struggles and challenges of our lives.
The Scripture for this Sunday comes from 1 John 3:1-3.  John reminds the worshipping community that they are Children of God.  Although what they will become as a community has yet to be revealed, their identity as God’s Beloved children is certain.  Looking forward to celebrating our identity as Children of God together on Sunday.
Peace,
Allison
